A new Eragon novel is drafted
Christopher Paolini announced on his instagram that he just finised the draft for Tales of Alagaësia Volum 2. He also wrote that this will be a ”proper Eragon Novel” as in Eragon the Character.
Still no namne or cover for ACOTAR 6 but new hardback designs
There are still no title or cover design announced for the next ACOTAR book by Sarah J. Maas. Bloomsbury did announce a new colored covers for the hardbacks that releases 13th of Oct. A lot of fans are upset and critiques them for making them buy new books to match the new released covers instead of publishing a matching paperback.

Fans are speculating about Rebecca Yarros behavior online
Rebecca Yarros is in the middle writing the 4th book in the Emperyan series, and posted a funny picture her niece reading it. She also changed her profile picture to black and white, which made the fans speculate that she is doing a Taylor Swift and insinuating that she is going to reveal something big soon.
It might have something to do with the surprise novel from the Fourth Wing series she announced, that is not the fourth book and ”not altering the timeline of book 4”.
Free novel from M.L Wang
M.L Wang, the author of Blood over Bright Haven just published a free novel on her website. It’s a sappic fantasy with martial art theme and it’s called Destiny’s Edge. From what I’ve heard it’s one of her happier books. You can find it at her website and download it here!
The Hot Girls Read Controversy
Allie Rose LCC created the trademark ”Hot Girls Read” to use it for her business and sell it on bookmarks, tshirts and so on. She got a major backlash from the book community, since it’s such a commonly used phrase and it would hurt a lot of smaller business owners. After a while, she announced on her TikTok that she has forfeited the trademark and will not use it going forward.
This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me 2 is done
Ilona Andrews wrote on her instagram that ”Maggie 2 is DONE” which means we will get a sequel to the popular book This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me. More details are coming later.
A banned books library
Dua Lipa has opened a free books library in Portugal to work against books being banned. It’s called Livraria Lello Porto.
Anne Hathaway seen with Crescent City 1
The actress ANne Hathaway has been seen walking around with a book in her arms, and people with a keen eye can see that it’s the first book in Crescent City by Sarah J. Maas, House of Earth and Blood.
All the movie rights for the Maas-verse are owned by Sarah, but fans are now hoping for a movie adaption with Anne as one of the cast members. But she might just be reading in preparation for the new ACOTAR release.

MOVIE ADAPTATIONS
An update on the Mistborn movies
Brandon Sanderson confirmed that the Mistborn movie adaptation that he is developing with Apple TV will become a trilogy of movies as well. The Stormlight Archive will become a tv-series with 10 episodes.
The Everlasting is getting screen adapted by Netflix
The Everlasting by Alix E. Harrow will get screen adapted by Netflix. Screenwriter Daphne Ferraro is develop the tv-series together with the author.
